As a Sales Assistant (Account Coordinator) you will be responsible for participating in and supporting the entire account management and assortment planning process including collaborating with the account management and product management teams, as well as coordinating with our overseas sourcing offices in Shanghai and Manila and the buying offices for our key retail partners. You will be expected to play a central support role helping drive business development within our established account base.Responsibilities May Include:Participate in meeting prep for client presentations including putting together product presentation boards, coordinating and communicating with key internal stakeholders to gather relevant reporting and information, assist in showroom sample set-up, update relevant store visit recap reports and ensure timely completion of detailed client product proposalsFacilitate post-meeting client recaps compiling feedback and commentary and assimilating into PowerPoint presentation decks, communication with key internal stakeholders in New York and Asia, as well as reorganization of showroom at conclusion of client presentationsMonitor Time & Action calendar for key milestones helping to ensure critical account management deadlines are achieved on a consistent basis.Manage sample review process for all existing product development and facilitate required communication among internal stakeholders and Asia sourcing teamMaintain fabric library & inventory to include:Review/maintain monthly fabric inventory report and maintain corresponding swatchesReview monthly sales reporting and maintain library of new and best selling textiles Maintains best selling textile boards by customerCollect, communicate and finalize fabric approvals with Asia sourcing team. Maintain monthly LP boards to be used in approval processManage showroom sample inventorySupport Account Management team thru monthly store visits and recap reports to our accounts, as well as competitive and aspirational brandsMonthly Sales Read Recaps /Presentation Request sales read data from Buying partnersShare with Asia team for report formattingCreate visual PPT presentation recapping best/worst sellers and common themes for presentation to Management Team every monthSupport monthly assortment planning process (LPA cents € (TM) s) by maintaining LP Binders by account by monthRequirementsBachelorA cents € (TM) s degree in Merchandising, Business or other related field1+ year experience (or comparable internship experience) working in account management, sales and/or merchandising in a fashion related wholesale environmentStrong operational experience coordinating with key internal stakeholders including Asia sourcing offices, planning, finance, as well as retail buying officesStrong quantitative and analytical skills - prior planning experience and retail math acumen are a plusA keen eye for product with a strong sense of trend and colorExceptional written and verbal communication abilitiesA self-starter with a proven ability to manage projects through to completion while working autonomously yet collaborativelyOutstanding computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel and PowerPointRelated fashion industry experience required - knowledge of the home furnishings market a big plusBenefitsYou will have the opportunity to work with smart and passionate people that comprise the RGI Home family.
