Are you focused on achieving measurable outcomes of success? 1:800:FLOWERS, a leading gift company, is looking to hire a full:time Manager in their Analytics and Decision Sciences (ADS) team.
The Manager will be required to conduct data:driven analysis quickly and effectively to ensure that our business stays competitive and our customers behavior is clearly understood. This person will also be tasked with advancing our statistical analysis and modeling capability to help understand the impact of marketing spend across all channels and customer segments.
:Use statistical tools to analyze customers, campaigns, and other marketing data on a weekly, monthly and ad hoc basis.
:Work with multiple data sets. Collect and compile data from various sources (database, 3rd party vendors, etc.). Ensure data hygiene and quality control on all analyses
:Develop and maintain customer segmentation and other key marketing reports for an audience of various marketing stakeholders.
:Problem solve to address ad hoc issues and develop key insights to strengthen understanding of customer behavior
:Effectively communicate key marketing insights in order to optimize marketing spend, improve campaigns, develop customer segmentation, and improve marketing efficiency. Identify the best Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to keep track of campaign successes.
:Help train and develop skills among team members, maintain code libraries and documentation
:Identify ways to automate and make reporting processes more efficient to enable faster turnaround time and better insight generation
REQUIREMENTS:
:BS in Statistics, Statistical Analysis, or Business Administration highly desirable.
:3+ years experience in customer/marketing analytics
:2+ years experience with digital advertising and/or e:commerce
:Experience in writing SAS, SQL code a must
:Expertise with Microsoft Excel a must
:Knowledge of database marketing techniques including targeting and segmentation
:Basic understanding of digital marketing channels, including email, display, paid search and social media
:Problem solving and analytical capabilities
:Outstanding written and oral communication skills
:Outgoing, self:starting and able to work collaboratively with cross:capability team members
:Project Management :: must be able to manage time and effort to complete multiple work streams
:Knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Coremetrics, etc.) a plusCompany Description:/h3:
