The Global Function units at Citi include Audit & Risk Review, Compliance, Control & Emerging Risk, AML, Citi Security and Investigative Services (CSIS), Finance, Strategy, M&A, Investor Relations, Global Public Affairs, Human Resources, Legal, Risk Management, Global Community Development and Microfinance. The US Retail Banking Business has $142B in Deposits, $6B in Loans, over 8,000 employees, and close to 695 retail branches. The Consumer Banking businesses consists of the Retail Banking, Small Business, and Personal Wealth Management segments.
The US Retail Bank Finance group supporting the US Retail Bank is responsible for supporting the Segment, Product and Branch Distribution teams by providing best in class analytical insight. The team provides the US Retail Bank leadership team with an accurate and timely view of its financials along with insights to drivers of results and forward looking views based on the latest intelligence. The team manages the budget and forecasting processes, performs competitor analysis, builds presentations for the CFO and CEO providing top notch insight to drive senior management decision making.
**This position covers primarily the following:**
+ Provide financial, analytical and strategic support to the US Retail Banking business and in particular the Consumer Deposit Product teams
+ Perform Deposit Balance modeling and forecasting of NIM revenues for Flash, Outlook, Plan and CCAR.
+ Perform Expense forecasting and analysis related to the US Retail Deposit Product team
+ Support the Head of US Retail Deposit Product in developing the financial impact of customer interest and re-pricing initiatives as well as various investment projects
+ Prepare monthly financial statements/documents/presentations, conduct variance analysis and provide insight for reviews with senior management
+ Partner with Marketing team on quarterly deposit promotions and offers
+ Assist the product leads on key business initiatives such as product development and provide financial insight and support
+ Partner with Corporate Treasury in developing balance targets and transfer pricing and NIM projections
+ Partner with Modelling team on Deposit product models used for CCAR purposes
+ Work closely with Controllers and Financial Reporting Operations to ensure general ledger reflects current management view
+ Strong intellectual curiosity
+ Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, and ability to focus closely on details
+ MBA degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
+ 4-6 years of experience preferably in a financial analysis role supporting business financial planning functions
+ Strong communication skills both written and oral
+ Ability to create/manage complex financial worksheets and analyze and present results in executive ready decks
+ Strong Excel/Essbase/PowerPoint knowledge required and Access knowledge a plus.
+ Must be highly efficient, organized and motivated
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as a part of a team
