Job Description Personal-Touch Early Intervention Center-Base Program, is looking for Experienced Teacher Assistant to work in our dynamic ABA and Special Instruction classrooms. Training would be provided. The Teacher’s Assistant would be working collaboratively with the Head Teacher to: Assist in the implementation of individual and group goals derived from the IFSP Follow ABA programs as designed by Head Teacher Preparation of materials and set-up of equipment for planned activities Maintain an organized classroom environment Ensure the safety of the children in the classroom Complete applicable documentation Complete various other duties as assigned by the Supervisor(s) Qualifications Include: Must be 18 years or older High School Diploma Experience or related coursework in childhood education Experience working with children with special needs (Preferred) Clearance check from the State Central Register Prior DOI fingerprinting ( Preferred) Company Description Since 1996, Personal Touch Early Intervention Program has been providing ongoing therapeutic services, evaluations, and service coordination to children and families in the New York City metropolitan area. In 1999, we expanded our program and included a Center-Based facility located in Queens, with Special Instruction/ABA classrooms, therapy rooms, viewing windows for parents/caregivers, and a state of the art Sensory Gym. Our EI Center has grown since then, and alone has delivered dedicated services to over 1,000 children.
