Key Responsibilities:Coaches the lean-Agile mindsetCoaches team in Kanban principles and practicesFacilitates backlog management and refinementHelps team develop and adhere to WIP limitsFacilitates transparency of metrics, impediment removal, collaboration, and coordinationFacilitates continuous improvementNavigates teams through the agile journey in a hands-on mannerBacklog Management Practices:Works with Product Owners and team members to learn and practice healthy backlog management and prioritization practicesFacilitates the execution and improvement of backlog refinementPrepares for and facilitates release planning with teamsAssists in dependency management and cross team coordinationAgile Ceremony FacilitationFacilitates continuous improvement and the development of a learning culture on teamsFacilitates ceremonies, collaboration, communication, and conflict managementTeaches new team members Agile mindset and frameworks, practices, and processInfluences the organization in the removal of organizational impediments and development of healthy Agile practicesMentors Product Owners and team members in agile practices and continuous improvementDelivery Team SupportRemoves impediments to the team's ability to performActs as a buffer between external distractions to minimize disruptionsAssists in the coordination of operational issue resolutionFacilitates team development, mediates conflicts protecting the team and encourages healthy team dynamics.Fosters team responsibility, self-accountability, transparency and self-organizationLeverages coaching skills to help the team learn to solve its own problemsAdvice and GuidanceIntroduces and encourages team to explore healthy Agile development practices, focus on quality and technical excellence, predictable delivery, automation, and continuous deliveryTeaches and encourages a balanced backlog that delivers valuable features for customers, reduces technical debt, provides business value, and enables product sustainabilityHelps the team to develop, capture, and analyze metrics to facilitate team improvementsPromotes transparency through healthy communications and data integrityQualifications4 years of experience as a Scrum MasterBachelors degree or related field or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and educationWorking experience in a related industryWorking experience as a Scrum Master, with coaching experience preferredWorking experience in one or more of the following Agile methods or frameworks: Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), or KanbanWorking experience with Agile scaling frameworks, including SAFeWorking experience with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence, EazyBI, GIT, Bamboo)CSM certification preferredCSPO certification a plusCSP certification a plusSAFe certification a plusMobile experience a plus - provided by DiceScrum Master, Atlassian tool suite
