Job Description IMMEDIATE FULL TIME AND PART TIME SECURITY OFFICER OPENINGS – EXPERIENCED AND ENTRY LEVEL. POSTS LOCATED IN NASSAU AND SUFFOLK COUNTIES. Nassau County: Bethpage : Multiple shifts available, days, evenings, overnights, weekends. Experience as licensed security officer at hospitals is preferred. -Bethpage : Sunday 5pm – 1am and Saturday 1am – 9am - $12.15 per hour. -Glen Cove : Sunday & Monday 3pm – 11pm and Friday & Saturday 7am – 3pm - $11/hour, basic computer knowledge required. -Syosset : Friday through Sunday, 6pm – midnight - $16.83/hour with an additional supplemental benefit of $1.75/hour, must have 3+ years security exp, MUST HAVE CLEAN DRIVERS LICENSE -Woodbury : Monday through Wednesday, 6pm – midnight and Friday midnight – 6am - $16.83/hour with an additional supplemental benefit of $1.75/hour, must have 3+ years security exp, MUST HAVE CLEAN DRIVERS LICENSE. -Garden City : Monday through Friday, 12pm – 6pm - $11/hour. -Oceanside : Sunday & Monday 2pm – 10pm, Tuesday 10pm – 6am and Friday & Saturday 10pm – 6am - $12/hour, MUST HAVE CLEAN DRIVERS LICENSE. -Oceanside : Sunday & Monday 6am – 2pm and Thursday - Saturday 2pm – 10pm - $12/hour. MUST HAVE CLEAN DRIVERS LICENSE. Suffolk County: -Pt. Jefferson : Saturday – Tuesday 6pm – 3am - $15/hour, MUST HAVE CLEAN DRIVERS LICENSE. -Islandia : Sunday and Saturday 3pm – 11pm - $13.15 per hour, must be computer literate -Stony Brook : Sunday and Saturday midnight - 8am $16.83/hour with an additional supplemental benefit of $1.75/hour, must have 3+ years security exp Requirements: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively work with others Ability to maintain composure under certain circumstances Outstanding customer service and delivery skills Must be a self-motivated individual Enforcement of safety regulations Access Control Security Patrol by foot Completion of daily security reports, incident reports, security logs, etc **In addition to the above postings, Summit Security Services Inc. is also looking for fill in Security Officers. These positions require that the individual be available to work if needed on an on call basis, sometimes being called in two-four hours prior to the start of a shift. You MUST be flexible in the hours and must be able to travel within Nassau for Nassau County residents or Suffolk County for Suffolk County residents. Pay for fill in Officers varies from $11.00-$16.28 (+$1.75) PER HOUR depending on experience level-- most of our locations are prevailing wage paying $16.28 (+$1.75) For Immediate Hire, Please Bring These Documents: · NYS DMV Driver’s License – if applying for mobile patrol post · High School Diploma or GED · Security Guard License or UID number · Applicable I-9 Documents · MUST be current on all required NYS training (16 hour on the job training certificate and 8 hour annual for 2017/18 if you have worked in the security industry).
